This lesson has been inspired the cleanest stuff of the dark/gothic/death/doom/atmospheric bands like Opeth, The gathering, Katatonia, etc. The main influence of this tune is the Opeth's album called Damnation.

We'll take a look at the beginning of the lead which is played in G minor. We'll use a minor blues pentatonic scale.

First part of the song Dark Fuse. It is mostly based on a few dissonant ideas with the use of a chord segment including the root, 2nd and 5th. I tried to include several different tapping techniques to keep things visually entertaining.

First we start of with legendary John Frusciante grooves, and then we go to the part where we actually learn how to emulate his sound and a couple of great mixing tricks in order to achieve that genuine "Stadium Arcadium" sound.
